Schade, Dorothy (Marriage - 9 Oct. 1934)
A quiet wedding took place Tuesday, October 9, at St. Mary’s parsonage, Rev. L. J. Lang reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Dorothy Schade, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Schade of the town of Holton, became the bride of Mr. George Krepsky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Krepsky of Colby. Genevieve Krepsky, sister of the groom, acted as maid of honor and the groom was attended by Harold Schade, the bride’s brother.
The bride was attired in a beautiful floor length dress of brown velvet with hat and shoes to match and carried a bouquet of roses. Miss Krepsky wore a dress of rust colored chiffon with shoes to match and her bouquet also consisted of roses.
A reception and dinner for the immediate members of both families was given at the home of the groom’s parents, plates being laid for twelve.
The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Milwaukee and Chicago, and, on their return, will make their home with the groom’s parents for the winter.
